Fishing report week ending 25th November, 2007

Hello everyone,

Not long now I guess before we hand over the reins to the new owners. Although the solicitors are saying it could be the second week in December. Of course I will keep you all posted as soon as this happens. The new owners have been visiting site pretty reguarly and are getting up to speed with operations. Here is the fishing report.

Fly Lake
Monday 5.0
Tuesday 3.0
Wednesday 4.0
Thursday 8.7
Friday 7.8
Saturday 5.5
Sunday 4.3

Some great averages - on Sunday Mr Morral one of our regulars caught 19 fish on a 3 hour ticket. We have had several anglers who have caught 10, 15, 10 and 12 fish this week. Cats whisker, fritz and montanna have worked really well.

Main Lake (Pleasure)
Quite a few anglers have recorded they have had some nice 15 to 20lb bags this week. Some really nice perch have show this week. Alan Rutter of Great Harwood emailed me to say he had a great day on Wednesday. He fished using maggot and said he caught some lovely silvers.

Doughnut Lake (Pleasure)
Not much to report this week as most anglers have elected to fish on the main lake.

Main Lake (Carp)
The big catch of the week goes to Tony Ashworth. Tony landed three fish using his session with us, namely a 38lb common, 15lb common, 7lb common, and a nice 10lb mirror. Well done Tony. Other fish recorded as caught were as follows: 10lb common, 11lb common, 13lb common, 15lb common, 15lb mirror, 16lb common. Thank you to Nick Simmons who fished us on Tuesday for a 24 hour session. Nick said although he blanked its the first time he has visited Pendle View. He said he has fished all over and wanted us to know just how well run the venue is and how helpful our staff are. Its always nice when someone takes the trouble to email us with their comments.

Well folks thats all for now. Hope to see you on our banks sometime.

best wishes
Lin at Pendle View
