Fishing report week ending 2nd December, 2007

Hello everyone,

Well the hand over to the new owners is fast approaching. We understand from our respective solicitors that Monday 10th December could be the day. If thats correct this could be our last week as owners of the fisheries. As I have said recently the new owners have some great ideas and I am sure they will be sharing these with you all in due course. Here is the fishing report.

Fly Lake
Zonkers, blood worm and fritz have worked really well as the water is very cloudy due to all the recent rain. Here are a few highlights. P. Morrall caught 19 trout in 3 hrs. W. Street caught 25 trout in 3 hours. J. Hogg caught 26 trout in 8 hours. S. Street caught 12 trout in 4 hours. The averages are as follows:
Sunday 6.6.
Monday 6.3
Tuesday 6.3
Wednesday no anglers too windy
Thursday 2.5
Friday 4.3
Saturday 1.4

Main Lake (Carp)
A few carp have shown this week. 18lb common 14lb two tone mirror, 15lb mirror, 16lb common. Pop ups have worked well this week.

Main Lake (Pleasure)
Roach, gudgeon and big perch have shown well this week. I have had one or two nice emails from two guys who came over from Skipton and said they had some good sport despite the weather conditions. They caught bags of 15-18lb.

Doughnut Lake
To be honest we have not had a lot of people fish the doughnut lake this week.

Well folks I will be about at the fisheries on Tuesday and Thursday this week getting ready for the handover. Hope to see you on the banks.

best wishes
