Fishing report week ending 16th December, 2007

Hello folks,

Not long now for the big day. The weather has really turned cold and this has make fishing on the coarse lake very slow.

The Main and the Doughnut Lake has not seen much action at all. Some very small bags have been recorded, but the biggest bag has only been 10lb. Sadly I have no carp catches to report either.

On a more positive note the Fly Lake is still fishing well. Here are the averages.

Sunday 1.7
Tuesday 5.0
Wednesday 1.5
Thursday 4.4
Friday 10.1
Saturday 2.2
Black fritz, white appetizers and cats whisker are working well.

The following anglers did very well on the fly lake. S. Smaller 16 trout in 2 hours. Mike Towers 15 trout in 2 hours. B. Bradley 23 trout in 4 hours. A. Dewhurst 20 fish in 2 two hour sessions.

Well folks the Harnick family have moved into the house now and are on site. They will soon be asking me to publish a press release which will give you a flavour for what they hope to do on site. As soon as they settle in they will be amending the web site to reflect the fact that the venue is under new management. If you wish to ask them any questions please email me and I will let them have your questions and queries.

Have a good week in the run up to Christmas.

best wishes
