catch report week ending 6,7,08

MAIN LAKE

Mr David Walker on peg 29/30 had a 13lb grass carp and 6 bream .

Brad on the dam wall had a 12lb ghosty and a 15lb ghosty .

Mr M Leaver on peg 88 had two 10lb commons on Banana boilies .

Mr Bret Wild on the dam wall had a 14lb mirror and 15lb 8oz common on mixers .

On peg 89 had a 27lb 5oz mirror .

Mr Rob Wroe had 312 fish bream roach and carp weighing about 8olb he was using 6mm pellet on the hook and 6mm fed pellet on peg 100 .

Mr Carl Dowling had 47lb of bream and roach using sweetcorn on the feeder .

Averages today are 5.3 . Flies working are montana buzzers and daddies . Mr J Layfeild had 13 fish in 4hrs . Mr I Ballaty had 7 fish in 3hrs .

Averages today are 6.7 flies working are sedge , cdc buzzers and various dry flies . Mr J Woolcoff had 18 fish in 4hrs . Mr W Street had 11 fish in 3hrs . Mr D Trivett had 9 fish in 5hrs .

SUN

Averages today are 5.3 . Flies working olive fritz , oliue buzzersand green fly . Mr Morral had 11 fish in 3hrs .

Hello everybody some good news . On the 6th of july 08 Pendle view fisheries purchased a head of 32 carp to be introduced into the main lake . They are due to arrive within the next two week once the health check has been carried out and E.A consent has been granted . They are a batch of good young fish with plenty of growing potential . Weighing between 13lb to 22lb and they are a mix of commons and mirrors .

A lovely carp came out to Mr Jim Ewart he had a 32lb 8oz common at 430am this morning on peg 24\25 on tutti frutti boilies . at the same time Mr David Rothwell had a 18lb ghosty on peg 65\66 on prawn well done both of them
