Fishing report week ending 3rd February, 2008

Hiya,

Yes its me again - but I do think it will be the last week that I send you a report. We had some difficulty setting up the group emails last week so that Dave Harnick can send you a report.

Well what an awful week it was. The strong winds and cold weather were awful. Hopefully the weather report for this week is much kinder. Here is the fishing report for last week.

We had a few carp show this week on the Main Lake, namely 20lb 40z common, 14lb common, 10lb mirror and a 4lb mirror. There have been some nice silvers showing, but to be honest with the weather conditions not many pleasure anglers fished with us.

The Doughnut Lake fished okay and we had some good reports of carp and bream showing up to 6lb.

The Fly Lake has fished very well as usual and bloodworm, and cats whisker have worked really well. The averages are as follows:
Monday 5.0
Tuesday 14.0
Wednesday 3.0
Thursday 2.0
Friday No anglers as it was very windy
Saturday 10.0
Sunday 6.0

Saturday was a brilliant day with a total of 75 fish being caught. Tuesday 41 fish were caught.
Well folks thats all for now - take care of yourselves and good fishing.

best wishes
